This paper reports the development and testing results of a prototype ceramic filter with excellent sorption properties (<99% elimination in 5 min) leading to good efficacy removal industrial contaminants (Reactive Bezaktiv Turquoise Blue V-G (BTB) dye). The novelty investigation lies developing material obtained from recycling waste glass combined highly porous open-cell clay material. newly developed showed significant reduction energy requirements (sintering temperature required for production filters) thus addressing grand challenge sustainable cleaner manufacturing. methodology entails sintering foam (CF) at temperatures ranging 800 1050 °C blending it 5%, 7% 10 wt% milled cullet. One aims this was evaluate analyse effect pH solution, contact time equilibrium isotherm on process mechanical compressive strength, porosity, water uptake. From kinetic studies, discovered that experimental were well aligned pseudo-second-order model chemisorption be mechanism driving adsorption process. These findings are crucial designing cost-effective filtration system since being proposed work is reusable, recyclable readily available abundance. Overall, pathway reuse shown by help address sustainability targets set UN Charter via SDG 6 12.
